Xiaomi Mi Band 4: Price in India and launch date

Xiaomi in their annual ecosystem lunched several products including the successor of Mi band 3 the all new Mi Band 4. The New fourth generation Band comes with some major updates over it’s previous edition.

The Xiaomi Always lunched it’s bands first in China and then soon after a month in India. considering this we can expect the Mi Band 4 to hit the Indian market soon in upcoming months.

Mi Band 4 Price

Price: You should really wait for the Mi Ban 4 to lunch in India as it is priced so low compared to the other competitor who’s charging way more than this to offer the same features.

Xiaomi has launched an NFC version and a non-NFC Version of the Band 4. in addition to that Xiaomi also launched an exclusive Avengers Edition of Mi Band 4.

The NFC version of the Mi Band 4 is available in China at a Price of RMB 169 which converts to Rs 1,700.

The NFC version of the Mi Band 4 is available in China at a Price of RMB 299 which converts to Rs 2,300.

The Avengers Edition Mi Band 4 is available is China at a Price of RMB 349 which converts to Rs 3,500. The Mi bands in India been always price lower than Rs 2000 so we may expect the Mi Band 4 to follow the same.

Mi Band 4 Features

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 with AMOLED display

Display: For the first time since the Mi Band series Xiaomi launched a Band with colored display. The Mi band 3 has an black and white display but the new Mi Band 4 have a 0.95-inch AMOLED color touch screen that offers resolution of 240 x 120p. The screen on the band is covered with a 2.4D curved glass on the top of it.

NFC support: The Mi Band 4 gets the support to the NFC payment options which was not available in the previous generation Mi Bands. To make the payment the user need to swip and show the QR code on their Mi Band 4.

Six-axis sensor: The Mi Band 4 comes with a six-axis sensor which can track the swimming activities like a Butterfly stroke, Medley, Freestyle, and Backstroke.

Built-in microphone: The another surprise Mi Band 4 packed with is it”s built-in Microphone to enable the new Xiaomi AI voice assistant.

The users are now able to use the new voice assistant to control the other smart home products by Xiaomi such as smartphones, air conditioner, Mi smart Led bulb, among other things with the smart band itself. With the Mi Band 4 the users will be able to control music playback of their smartphones.

Improved fitness features: The Mi Band 4 now have better and improved tracking features than it’s previous generations. it comes with loads of fitness feature links step counting, sleep monitoring, similar to it’s successor Mi Band 3. Now the new band is also capable of detecting activities like running, jogging, cycling.

The heart rate sensor of the Mi Band is said to be way more improved than it’s previous generations. This means that we can expect close to accurate results now.

New Colors Options: For the Mi Band 3 we have only one color option available here in India. But this changes with the new fourth generation bands. The Mi Band 4 is available in six funky color options in China. We may expect they launch all six colors in the Indian market too.

On Screen Notifications: Similar to the Mi band 3, the mi band 4 is also able to display on screen notifications for text messages, WhatsApp messages, fitness details, etc.

Water resistant: Similar to it’s previous generations the Mi Band 4 has the Water resistant rating of 5ATM. this the Band 4 is capable of handling the water splashes and even you can swim with it.

Battery: Xiaomi claims that the Mi Band 4 can deliver 20 days of battery life on a single charge.

Conclusion: Overall the Mi Band 4 is a great upgrade in terms of both design and features. If you are looking for a new fitness tracker. then it is worth to wait for the Mi Band 4. Xioami India hasn’t revealed any details about the India launch of the Mi Band 4 but we may expect it to launch soon in upcoming months or so.
