Airtel Internet TV launched; offers Android TV STB, 500+ channels and Netflix

Airtel has announced the launch of Airtel Internet TV, the start of an internet-based streaming service for the company. The Airtel Internet TV will be powered by Airtel STB which is powered by Android TV out of the box. The unit is priced at Rs 4,999 and it’ll be only available Amazon along with 3 months of free Airtel DTH subscription. The business detailed that it’s going to give free data up to 25GB for existing Airtel Internet users depending on their strategies.

Airtel STB is the first 4K- with Netflix and YouTube furnishing the content able streaming STB in India. It will come with 8 GB internal storage that may be expanded to 128 GB up to 2 TB utilizing the USB port and using the microSD card slot. The STB may also allow users to cast pictures, videos or games on the large screen so that users can use smartphones as controllers in case of games using dedicated Android and iOS apps.
