Best Phones under 7000

MOTO C PLUS

Moto C Plus is by Motorola, One if the biggest American Smartphone Brand which was sold to Lenovo, A well known Chinese Brand. If you are 90’s kids, then I am sure you are a Moto Fan! Recently Motorola launched this Budget phone called C Plus. Well, you might have been heard about G, E and X series from moto. But this C-series is new from Moto’s side. Coming to the device…

Let’s start off with Display, It has got a 5-inch display with a 720p panel with a resolution of 720*1280. Unlike device, the display doesn’t look so cheap. This display has acceptable viewing angles, natural and accurate colors. The display is overlighted and heavy some times with a white tint on display. With the direct sunlight on screen, we can hardly see the screen. At this price point, we can demand much out of it! Coming to design, it was a completely new design from moto, but the design is seen on many Chinese smartphones like Maxx and other underrated Brands. Moto has gone with the Hardware keys for the first time and not a bad idea though.

The user interface is pretty similar, as it is a device from Moto it comes with Stock Android unlike other smartphones at this price range. It’s running on Android 7.0 with some custom Moto Apps inbuilt. The 8Mp rear facing camera performs better In day light and pictures came out to be good and colorful, Coming to Indoors, it obviously failed to perform well. The 2MP selfie camera is good for Selfies both in Indoor and Outdoor, In Outdoors selfies are blown out. It would be way better if Moto has gone with 5MP Selfie camera.

The Moto C-Plus is Powered by MTK6737 quad-core processor coupled with 2 gigs of RAM. No need to get Shocked if I say it doesn’t game well. What can You expect from a device of this kind of specs? We can play games like Temple Run, Asphalt Nitro etc at an Acceptable Frame Rates, but with Asphalt 8, Modern Combat lots of frames are skipped.

All this is backed up with a 4000mAH battery which does support Quick Charge. With heavy usage, you can get up to 6-7 hours of Screen On Time, with the moderate usage you can run up to 13 hours of SOT. Overall it is a great device! Still, what are you waiting for? Get yourselves a Moto C Plus right now!

Xiaomi Redmi 4

Redmi 4 is one of the Great device available in the market. As its predecessors, it is also a budget beast. Well as we all know about Xiaomi devices, they offer good value for money smartphones. Xiaomi is 5th largest smartphone maker in the world.

Coming back to the device, in terms of design it looks like a shrunken down Redmi Note 4. Coming to the display, it has got 720p IPS LCD display with 294ppi. The display looks more in AMOLED style with a reddish tint on display, I mean Colors are on the warmer side. Whites on this display look a little red. As I already said about design, it looks like a shrunken down Redmi Note 4. The only thing we can Identify is the camera and Fingerprint are moved up like Redmi 3s.

Redmi 4 has got a 13MP shooter with F2.0 Aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus. In Outdoors, Camera performs in a flagship Range. The images taken with Redmi 4’s rear camera came out to be sharp and natural. Nothing comes Blown out unless you shoot light directly. Bokeh shots also came out to be excellent, thanks to the Shallow Depth of the Field by F2.0 Aperture. In indoors, in less lighting situations, Images shot with this Camera automatically increases Saturation levels up which is good actually, but in order to maintain detail, it tends to produce high levels of noise. This is to be expected from devices at this price point. Outdoors with 5MP front facing shooter is a good experience with Inbuilt software options, just like other Redmi Devices. This Front Facing camera even performs better in Indoor lighting conditions also.

Gaming with the device is a good experience overall. It is powered by Snapdragon 435 processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU with a selection of RAM’s available. It can easily run Intensive games like Asphalt 8 and NOVA 3 with ease, but with highest possible settings, there will be a change of frame drops. All this is backed up with 4100mAh of Battery which can easily get you throughout a day.

MICROMAX CANVAS 5

The Canvas 5 is Micromax’s  offering in its canvas range and it’s a refreshing upgrade over its predecessorsThe phone gets a 2.5D curved glass on display which makes it quite striking. The full HD display holds well for most lighting conditions delivering sharp pictures and punchy colors. The metal and plastic body offers good grip and is comfortable for daily use. The Micromax Canvas 5 runs on a stock version of Android lollipop 5.1. There is slight stutter in some of the animation effects but the interface functions smoothly, for the most part, the bundled bloatware apps can get really annoying but thankfully most of it can be uninstalled. Micromax also throws in a few motion gesture features and a tab for tweaking the color of the display. The performance is good thanks to the octa-core processor and 3gb of RAMThere 16gb of onboard storage which can be expandedYou also get 4G LTE for Indian bands on both Sims the phone gets warm during intensive usage.

The Full HD videos are a joy to watch and audio quality is pretty good too, Thanks for few software announcements. The canvas 5 sports a 13 megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. Both of them do a good job in daylight. Images captured with Canvas 5 have a detail with good color reproduction. For landscapes and macros, the interface is easy to operate and we even get a professional style manual control. Low light performance is where it takes a hit with landscapes appearing blurry with plenty of noise levels. The battery will easily get you throughout the day. However, it takes longer to charge it completely charge the device.

Micromax canvas 5 pleasantly surprised us with a crisp display and good performance and its ability to capture detailed macros. The low-light camera performance and the battery life could have been better. Overall more than the decent device, and what else can we expect from devices at this price point!

Redmi 4A

The Redmi series has been the one that’s been anchoring Xiaomi in the 10,000 rupee category in India. The Redmi 4A  brings VoLTE and a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera to the ultra budget

Segment. The first thing you notice when you hold the Redmi 4A in your hands is that despite looking a lot like a metal body..it is actually a polycarbonate. The new smartphone closely follows a design language of previous Redmi phones and buyers in this segment won’t be disappointed with a relatively small 5-inch screen. The phone is compact and easy to use, with just one hand. There is no fingerprint reader on this Redmi 4A, which isn’t really a surprise considering its price. At roughly 132 grams the Redmi 4A  is claimed as the Lightest Redmi device ever! It has been launched in three colors Dark Grey Gold and Rose gold respectively. The phone comes with a charger micro USB

The device features a 5-inch HD display with 296 PPI. The display is vivid and color reproduction is adequate. There is no problem using it under direct sunlight. The Redmi 4A is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 SOC clocked at 1.4GHz with an Integrated Adreno 308 graphics. It has 2gb of RAM and 16gb of storage which can be expanded using a microSD. Coming to the cameras, the 4A has 13MP Rear Camera with 5 element lens with an F2.2 aperture. Shooting in outdoor just resembles the Redmi 3S Camera. The Bokeh effect is good and expected. Coming to indoors, surprisingly noise levels are very less compared to other devices in this range. The Selfie camera is a good shooter. Whether it’s indoor or outdoor it gets the job done! The handset packs a non-removable 3120mAh hour battery. The batter is great! It doesn’t feel like using a 3000mAh battery, It runs through an entire day. We were very impressed with the overall performance of the Redmi 4A.

Nubia N1  Lite

Nubia is a sub-brand of ZTE which is a Chinese OEM doing well here in India. They have recently launched Nubia N1 Lite in India which is liter version of Nubia N1. This phone features a 720p 5.5-inch IPS display with 2.5D Curved Glass on top. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Nubia UI on top of it.

Nubia N1 Lite is power packed with 1.25 GHz MediaTek MT6737 Quadcore processor which seems to be OEM’s most preferred is good but not the best especially compared to Redmi 4. Underneath the hood it is packed with 2 FB of RAM, 16 GB of ROM and expandable up to 128 GB.

Coming to Camera, the rear camera is 8MP with a 4P lens and F2.0 aperture and Front camera remains the same 5MP just like other phones at the same price point. The Rear Camera is not that great as expected, can’t really spend much time on it. Outdoors even look polished and indoors, are same. The Front facing camera is cool, Prettily built.

The Nubia N1 Lite is backed with 3000 mAh non-removable battery without the fast charging. You can get Around 8 hours of Screen On Time. Overall acceptable device. If only looks matters.
