The Vivo V9 all set to launch in India on March 23

The Vivo V9 appeared on an unexpected billboard in Indonesia last month, suggesting a new phone by the Chinese manufacturer Vivo is on its way. Vivo V9 has now been listed on Amazon India. And the new Vivo V9 smartphone that is scheduled for its launch on Friday, March 23.  The company itself confirmed the rumor, sending out an official teaser for the phone.

Vivo V9: Launch Date in India

The V9 will be announced globally on March 22 with a notch like iPhone X on the screen and more AI Powered functions. A day later, on March 23, Vivo will arrange a separate event in India where we will get the further details about the exact pricing and availability.

As per the listing page on Amazon India, the new Vivo V9 will have a FullView Display and “sleek futuristic design”, indicating that it will come with a notch on the top and thin-bezels. The page also stated the AI-powered camera, the Vivo V9 carries a tagline that is, “Perfect Shot, Perfect View.” The handset will come with a dual rear camera setup, Featuring an LED flash, and a selfie camera with artificial intelligence (AI) features, including AI face beauty, age detection, gender detection, and AR Stickers. These are likely to not just improve your selfies but will also give new and better experiences.

Vivo V9: Specifications, Features

There are no actual specs available for Vivo V9 yet, but looking at how the Vivo V5 and Vivo V7 were aimed at making the perfect selfie, the new V9 is most likely going to be focused on the portrait photography mode with the selfie camera.

According to previous rumors about V9, the front-facing camera will be 24 MP with f/2.0 aperture, HDR support AR and stickers. Other specifications hold Snapdragon 626 chipset, 4 GB RAM & Android 8.1 Oreo. We will update the full specifications list here later this week when the Vivo V9 goes official on 23 March.
